Welcome to our newest offering, Short Courses! We’re excited to introduce a range of 3-month courses, designed to provide you with a taste of some of the most exciting topics out there. These courses consist of 9 interactive small group sessions, with 3 sessions per month. While our live interactive year-long courses are fantastic, we recognise that sometimes it’s nice to dip your toes into new subjects without committing to a year-long program or enrolling to our school – this is the PERFECT opportunity to try us out!

This course is perfect for aspiring playwrights who love the idea of a collaborative project. With Denis as your guide, you’ll delve deep into the craft of writing for the theatre and explore techniques for developing characters, writing engaging dialogue, and creating dynamic plot structures. The script you’ll develop in this course will become the foundation for a performance project in a future short course that we’ll be running later in the year. You’ll have the exciting opportunity to see your work come to life by a group of students who will utilise the script produced collaboratively in this course!

There will be a maximum of 10 students per class. These are live and interactive classes. Students will be expected to have their cameras switched on during class. Read more about our expectations.
What's included & Costs
The following is included in the short course:
- Live interactive small group (max 10 kids) zoom classes. Please note cameras need to be switched on.
- Video content of the lessons recorded without students present. The teacher will record separately and the content will be edited and added to your portal. Please allow 4 days for the videos to be added to your portal. You will receive lifetime access to the videos.
- Weekly homework and activities that will feed into the next class
- Access to message the teacher via the portal during the live course
Costs:
- Each short course is equivalent to our weekly course costs at £37.50 per month (ie £112.50 per 3 month course)
- The full course fee is payable at the beginning of the course
