Iokasti has been at UKVS for 2 years, she attended traditional schooling until year 8, but didn’t enjoy the format of secondary school at all… Whereas preferred a traditional schooling setting to online, so Iokasti wanted to discuss the differences.

She continues to work as a private tutor for a small selection of families providing 1:1 tailored approach. Syd has worked in radio, speaks at events, and supports other tutors and educators through coaching and support. She is a big advocate of girls in STEM (she holds a MSci in Theoretical Physics and Applied Mathematics) and won the Outstanding Woman in STEM award in 2019 for her outreach work through her work at Femtinos.
