It’s the season!

Christmas is right around the corner! The weather has gone colder, presents have been added onto online shopping carts, and families have sent invitations. To say that it has been a difficult year is an understatement. Looking at the optimistic side of how things turned out this year, we still have a lot of things to be thankful for. The year brought us closer to our families more than ever. It made us realise the worth of things that we may have previously taken for granted. We’re happy with the progress we have made together as one UK Virtual School community. Indeed, it has been a fruitful learning experience for all of us.

Last October, the UK Virtual School Team spiced it up for Halloween. We had a virtual Halloween event and we each came as our spookiest personas! Everyone was dressed as iconic characters on TV, spiteful witches, mean devils, and even friendly skeletons! It was an exciting activity, all of us had so much fun despite being physically away from each other. This Christmas season, all UKVS students are invited to our virtual holiday event! Everyone will be dressed in their best Christmas costumes. Here are some ideas: Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, reindeers, Santa’s elves, snowman, snow princesses – there are loads! We are excited to see everyone on the 21st December. More details will be coming soon.
