This is usually rare for homeschooled children to find social clubs, considering the limitations of lockdown. Nothing is impossible! As UK Virtual School continues to break barriers, we are also committed to closing boundaries and gaps. We believe that our students should be given the platform to express themselves outside of classes. The introduction of our Social Clubs and various activities will surely give them loads of fun learning experiences! Participation also encourages social interaction among peers, bridging the spaces between them and potentially forming friendships. 

We have an array of exciting clubs and they start next week! From dance, art, world quiz, public speaking, to book club and lots more. Why not take up sign language whilst chatting to students from various year groups? UKVS Social clubs are set to become a popular and permanent addition to our school calendar. 

Each day, we learn a thing or two about ourselves. Self-discovery is always exciting, but it’s far more exciting when it’s shared with others. Whilst the lockdown forced most of us to stay at home, it gave us a new perspective to rethink, to learn new things, to try new skills. Introducing social clubs seems like a natural move right now.
