The meeting opened a brilliant discourse on UK Virtual School’s growth mindset philosophy, in which the focus of learning is on the journey and effort. As our parents suggested, it will be nice to have some channel where the students can recognise how far they’ve come and look back on their efforts. We’re introducing monthly assemblies soon! In these assemblies, UKVS students will have the opportunity to share achievements and progress amongst themselves. They can also do speeches, showcase their talents, or demonstrate learnings from social clubs. This will definitely boost their spirits!

After a successful run from November and December, we’ve picked the most popular clubs. We will gradually introduce them as months go. We have just launched Crafts for January, with various activities in three sessions. Watch out for the next social club activities in February, we will have a look at Coding.

The meeting also touched on potential career guidance for the students, which we intend to explore in the future. This will be a good opportunity to gauge the students in terms of career pathways, goal setting, and revision skills.
